Tanta's Faculty of Computers and Information Obtains Renewal of ISO Certification 21001_2018 and ISO 9001_2015 for the Third Consecutive Year

Tanta's Faculty of Computers and Information announced the successful completion of its annual research conference titled "Advances in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity" held on Monday, March 3, 2025. The conference was chaired by Professor Dr. Nancy Abbas El-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, with the presence of Dr. Omnia El-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and Dr. Osama Ghoneim, Acting Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.

The conference featured keynote speeches from distinguished international researchers and industry experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity. A total of 42 research papers were presented across various sessions, with participation from faculty members, graduate students, and researchers from several Egyptian and international universities.

Professor El-Hefnawy highlighted the faculty's ongoing commitment to research excellence and continuous development in alignment with the university's strategic plan and international quality standards. She also announced the establishment of a new specialized research lab for advanced computing systems that will serve both educational and research purposes.

At the conclusion of the conference, Dean El-Hefnawy expressed her sincere gratitude to all participants, organizing committee members, and faculty staff for their dedicated efforts in making the conference a resounding success, further cementing the faculty's position as a leading institution in computer science education and research in Egypt.
